The present study aims to rehabilitate this rich text by a Césaire reflecting on the philosophical, anthropological and literary stakes of his poetry, through the opposition that emerges between a scientific knowledge whose powers are disavowed and a poetic co-naissance understood in its Claudelian strength and depth.
