AB  - At a time when Pilate’s question about truth is being challenged, we question in this article that ways Paul Ricœur in his The Symbolism of Evil (1960) abandons the question of the veracity of myths of the origin of evil in order to focus attention on the « revealing » power of biblical accounts. This solution to the problem of truth has implications for the whole enterprise of philosophy of religion.
