The idea behind this special report was to bring the debate to Russia, because Bakhtin’s Proust concerns a whole civilization. Bakhtin’s Russian publishers uncovered archives and unpublished texts. In addition to several in-depth studies, Bakhtin’s disciples have astutely analyzed Proust. Their texts, translated here into French, reveal the reception of Proust in Russia and the influence of Bakhtin’s thought.
