AB  - Mikhail Bakhtin does not approach Marcel Proust’s work in an explicit and direct way. He considers the Dostoevskian polyphonic novel as a new novelistic genre, but the perspective of his analysis (amalgamation of novel and narrative literature) does not allow him to recognize the avant-garde quality of the Recherche as autofiction, a genre that opens the way to post-novelistic narrative modalities, such as intertext, made possible by the invention of electronic writing.
