AB  - Before showing how some of Mikhail Bakhtin’s concepts can serve as tools for the exegesis of Marcel Proust’s work, this article exposes the problems arising from the terminological paradigm developed by the Russian author in his study “Discourse in the Novel.” In the absence of a consensus over the translation of the key terms of this text, we propose an interpretive translation, taking into account all the meanings that derive from Bakhtin’s use of them.
