TY - EJOUR TI - The perception of the Proustian subject through the lens of phenomenology From Kant to Husserl T2 - Revue d’études proustiennes 2019 – 2, n° 10. Proust et Kant. Hommage à Anne Henry DO - 10.15122/isbn.978-2-406-09810-2.p.0267 SN - 2430-8218 AB - For Proust, the movement of thought proceeds from theoretical speculation. He often addresses the question of sensible intuition, an object grasped by means of a perception that gradually leads us to a transcendental awareness of the subject. The object in itself is not important, but what matters to the phenomenologist is the way it is represented by the subject of consciousness. For this reason, we propose to examine the perception of the Proustian subject from both a Kantian and a Husserlian perspective.
