AB  - The copy of the edition of Gaspard de la Nuit published by Bertrand Guégan in 1925, which is in the Gustave Kahn collection donated to the BnF, contains two unpublished manuscripts by Kahn dedicated to Aloysius: a verse poem entitled « Aloysius » and a prose poem entitled « À la manière d’Aloysius ». They confirm the importance of the relationship between Aloysius Bertrand, the founder of the prose poem, and Gustave Kahn, the theorist of free verse.
