AB  - The adjectival lexicon in Raymond Roussel’s La Vue indicates the essential or accidental properties of the object designated by the name they focus on. Whether epithet or attribute, Roussel’s adjectives create an argumentative stake at the heart of which we can distinguish two principal axes: description and interpretation. The adjective’s dual function allows us to discover what in La Vue is « included use » (the commonplace) and what is « extra use » (determinism).
