AB  - In Les Faux Saulniers, the narrator standing for Nerval relates his search for a rare book seen during one of his trips to Francfort, L’Histoire du sieur abbé-comte de Bucquoy, which he intends to use as a historical material for his feuilleton in Le National. This paper aims at studying the signs of an intertextuality that goes beyond a mere documentary research and includes a reflection on the material aspect of the book as an object, resulting in an experience of bibliophile rewriting.
