AB  - Our contribution presents the first results of a Franco-Italian research project (Galilée 2020-2022), which aims to carry out a corpus-based study of neological formations created from the 1980s onwards, in French and Italian, in the fields of climate and biodiversity. After outlining the general trends in “environmental” neology, we focus on lexemes built from bio-, a prototypical formant of these semantic fields.
