Its role is more developed in Schehadé’s theatre, in particular in Les Soirées des Proverbes, the plot of which is determined by the hunter Alexis. The study traces a filiation between Alexis and the figure of the poet depicted in the work of Supervielle. The most emblematic character in Schehadé’s writings is Argengeorge, a double of the bird as well as the hunter.
