AB  - This article deals with the horizon of expectation in the plays of Muḥammad al-Māġūṭ and the reception of his plays depending on the expectations of the reader/spectator while attempting to understand the author’s intentions. It is not a question of pursuing a detailed analysis of the plays nor necessarily of summarizing them but of visualizing the reaction of the spectator/reader when faced with certain dramatic scenes.
