AB  - Focusing on the child as a literary object in contemporary Lebanese theater, this contribution questions, through the prism of various plays performed on the national stage during the last ten years, the identity problems arising from the representations of heroes, their impact on young audiences and the visions of life these impose. Therefore, it seeks to determine whether the Lebanese theater is a missionary theater with a pedagogical vocation or a commercial theater offering entertainment.
