AB  - This article analyzes the paradoxical advent of a new temporal regime. It is a new regime because it combines the past and present in a novel way, and in a paradoxical mode because it results from an initial will to defend tradition. In it the order of effect is privileged over that of intentions. The status of the origin will in particular be examined as the foundation of the traditional temporal regime, and as an object of criticism that brings about the condition of a new representation of history.
