AB  - The presence of Harry Baur in Athens was a significant theatrical event. In 1938, the Kotopouli theatre welcomed the actor and his troop for three nights. His repertoire was based on his personal successes: Samson by Bernstein, Jazz by Pagnol, and Le mari que j’ai voulu by Verneuil. The performances incited debate about the talent of the actor, better adapted to screen roles. Critics concluded that several Greek actors were his equal.
