AB  - Part of the history of the Comoros is conveyed by its oral tradition. This tradition came to the Comoros through the traditions of the speakers of Bantu languages, the Arab, the Malagasy or the French folklore. Literary productions available today in the Comoros are the results of several centuries and thank to the refinement of the erudite and refreshing Comorian traditional parole that has contributed in keeping them alive. This chapter provides an inventory of oral forms of the archipelago.
