AB  - By becoming an integral part of France, Mayotte is on the point of writing a new chapter in its history. This paper seeks to answer the following question: How does the developing literature of Mayotte which is written in French fictionalize this recent past full of questions, hope, fears and excitement? Works selected for this analysis follow two schemes: “poetisinz” (as a modality for representing the real) and narration (as a process of identity creation).
