AB  - In support of traditional dictionaries we will give a definition of hell completed using dictionaries of symbols. J. Chevalier and A. Gheerbrand emphasize Greek antiquity while de M. Cazenave does so on Christian tradition. We will see its essential characteristics. Hell and the devil have great wealth from a linguistic point of view and have a very important literary posterity. Hell's reach today is more symbolic than real.
