AB  - Political communication is indeed the “poor relation” of dictionaries, encyclopedias, and shorter forms of definitions: it occupies a limited and often transient place. Two reasons for this appear: the targets (students, teachers, journalists, and politicians) are difficult to reach; and political communication is a recent and proliferating discipline, which would justify but also make redundant the use of dictionaries for a public that believes that it knows everything or nothing.
