AB  - The ill-defined notion of obliqueness is used in several fields (politics, literature, the media). It has a different form depending on the discourse (in poetry, in humorous texts) and based on multiple ends (irony, humor, dishonesty, censure). This article analyzes a particular type of writing, the writing of authors who have chosen the French language, a nonmaternal language, as a language of creation and freedom of expression, to make words say what they do not say.
