AB  - On May 30, 1487, Pierre Gerard added an abridged version of the prose of d’Estouteville to the Triumphe des Neuf Preux, adding the fleur of the deeds of a tenth Valiant Knight, Bertrand. The incunabulum preserved at the University of Liège is studied under different angles: codicology, editorial policy and woodcuts choice, heraldry and portraits, insertion in a récit-cadre, treatment of the source in two significant moments of a life: youth (3 chapters) and life’s end (3 chapters).
