AB  - Despite the holidays and the final word of the text: “hope”, The Little Horses of Tarquinia conveys a dissatisfaction of the author and is part of a broader context of political disenchantment. These disillusionments contaminate the structure and temporality of the novel, which plays and ironizes on the polysemic notion of “revolution”. It is through this concept, inseparable from the communist perspective of the characters, that the novel is analysed.
