AB  - Lending a Pythagorean ear to “the ingenuous that we carry within us”, Valéry’s “Ego” composed and recomposed the echoes of the Self and the world, in isolated notes, in arpeggios and then in chords. The long quest for the attractors of the Ego is now accessible to the German-speaking reader, thanks to the translation of the anthology of the Cahiers directed by H. Köhler and J. Schmidt-Radefeldt. H. Zwirn, who proposes “convivial solipsism” in quantum physics, takes up Valéry’s challenge to science, while Bantignies’ work brings us closer to the limits of the unique.
