AB  - The Lessay lande in L’Ensorcelée sparks disorientation on several levels: first of all, on a generic level, it subverts the novelistic while letting speech blossom that leads back to a form of poetry, as a symbolic reconfiguration of reality. Disorientation is also existential, a deviation which is presented as a paradoxical conversion to the sacred. What is consequently expressed is the power of the narrative to create a present, which gives an account of maladjustment to the world.
