AB  - The concept of deep learning is the organizing principle of this article, allowing us to establish a parallel between the Procedure and the “demoiselle-hie” in Locus Solus. We then present Canterel’s arrangements as a means of revealing the ontological issues surrounding technologies from Roussel’s time (in particular, the phonograph and cinema) but also of conceptualizing twenty-first-century technologies that, like Mopsus the cock, predict and create the conditions of our future.
