AB  - Many poets now return to travel writing thanks to a global mobility reinforced by writing residencies and changes in the writing profession. This study examines three poetic versions of travel in the Far East that play off the field survey against the picturesque narrative, using singular devices: a photo-poetic reportage in Cambodia, a series of miniatures intended to question the reverse side of images in Taiwan, and a modern epic in Shanghai.
