AB  - The genesis of Valéry’s texts is never easy to establish, as his scriptural practices contribute to blur the clues. However, the genetic path of the "Broken Stories" is complicated all the more because the death of the writer intervened before the completion of the texts and that the posthumous edition was realized according to a composition having escaped its final approval. Examination of the indices found in the manuscripts and typescripts cannot remove all the uncertainties.
