AB  - Today several photographers report on the terrible consequences of such catastrophes as Chernobyl and Fukushima, or such natural disasters as the Hurricane Katrina. Their methods of releasing the photographs and texts they bring back often veer between journalistic reporting and contemporary art. While their images might relate to the long tradition of apocalyptic representations, they also reveal a deep concern and a relation to time specific to the “Anthropocene”.
