AB  - Identified as a literary expression reflecting a hegemonical practice, traveler’s tales are proportionally under-represented in Francophone literatures (extra-European and postcolonial). However, travelling and traveler’s tales remain very present in the Francophone field, acting as a palimpsest in literary works which can be considered as alternate narratives. This article focuses on the terms and modalities of these counter-narrative practices at the start of the 21st century.
