AB  - In order to identify the causes of Flaubert’s interest in the féerie genre, this study seeks to contextualize the three scenarios (Les Trois Épiciers, Les Trois Frères, and Le Rêve et la Vie) within his literary output. The analysis is based on a genetic study, made possible thanks to the various notebooks that have been preserved, and attempts to place the problems that Flaubert sought to solve in perspective, by considering his féerie as presented in La Tentation de saint Antoine.
