Relying on the structure of denial, Beckett negates and reasserts form at the same time, demonstrating that artistic creation is a perpetual confrontation between form and formlessness. By doing so, this work shows how aporetic the concept of ‘form’ can be when it is not freed from the dualisms within which it is often confined.
