AB  - The Alpes-Maritimes is one of the départements which has retained the highest proportion of Justes. It owes this number to the Italian occupation, which was easier on Jews than the non-occupied zone. This impressive interlacing of Catholic generosity had its Protestant side, despite the lack of Protestant settlement and Protestant Churches on the Côte d’Azur. This article studies this aspect.
