AB  - Taking two classic atheistic works, the Theophrastus redivivus and the novels of Cyrano de Bergerac, she shows that philosophical atheism is radically different from skepticism: empiricism and logic combine to demonstrate that while all knowledge is only probable, it is nevertheless certain that what eludes our senses, such as God the Creator, does not exist. Whether the physics draw on Aristotle or Descartes, the method used is one of timeless scientific rigor.
