In this work he criticizes Bayle and Epicurus, but, based on physiological observations, he brings out a physics of feeling that resonates even in the Encyclopédie. Through references and allusions, we are able to recognize the author’s secret thoughts in this “compendium of philosophical happiness.” PY - 2020 DA - 2020/06/24 DP - Classiques Garnier PB - Classiques Garnier CY - Paris KW - Académie des Inscriptions, Lévesque de Pouilly, philosophical happiness, theory of feeling LA - fre UR - https://classiques-garnier.com/la-lettre-clandestine-2020-n-28-pensees-secretes-des-academiciens-fontenelle-et-ses-confreres-levesque-de-pouilly-a-true-philosopher-with-a-tender-heart.html Y2 - 2024/05/19 ER -
