AB  - This War, which cost the country a quarter of its population, was the most tragic of the challenges faced by Serbia. The terrible exodus of 1915, which has remained in collective memory as the “Albanian Golgotha”, was a singular interrogation of this sacrifice. We illuminate the key ideas and narrative means deployed in approaches to this event which resists being worked into literary form.
