AB  - This article takes stock of the evolution in the history of architecture in Belgium. It observes the impact of the human and social sciences on this discipline that prefers the hybrid, everyday, peripheral, and reception. Three themes of reflection are examined: the end of the history of styles, the renewal of objectives by studying sponsors, institutions, and urban actors, and the introduction of a technical and cultural history of construction.
