AB  - As a fine connoisseur of the freudian theory, Pierre Jean Jouve imagined in Vagadu (1931) the psychoanalytical cure of the actress Catherine Crachat. This paper focuses on the interpretations and on the constructions that pave the narrative way, as well as on the role of the four exegetes who built them, insisting on the poetic function of La Petite X, who escorts Catherine’s cure and who appears to be her as a child’s fantasy double.
