AB  - The study focuses on the modern translations of fabliaux, from the 18th-century attempts to the most recent works. The examination of such a corpus reveals which fabliaux have become major publishing successes and which others, on the contrary, have remained unknown to the public. Much of the analysis is devoted to the very successful Fabliaux ou contes by Le Grand d’Aussy, which supplied the source for many other translations from the 18th century down to current times.
