AB  - This article looks at a selection of Dutch readers of Rabelais in the period from 1680 to 1700, including the translator Nicolas Wieringa, authors of satirical gazettes, and particularly Romeyn de Hooghe, author and illustrator of pamphlets featuring the names of Pantagruel and Panurge. A work in progress, it invites us to study in greater detail this corpus of Rabelais readers, little known to Rabelaisian critics.
