AB  - Rabelais is a name that has long been associated with viticulture, particularly in the Chinon region of France. But the most exotic case of this use of the writer’s fame is the wine Rabelais produced by Thelema Mountain Vineyards, a family vineyard in South Africa founded in 1988. Produced from a mixture of Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, Rabelais represents the best red wine of the vintage, boasting a strong reputation and great success as an export.
