AB  - Convergences can be seen between the Heptaméron and Rabelais’ work on women and marriage. The two authors join Erasmus and juxtapose feminist and antifeminist discourse. In Rabelais, woman is presented by Rondibilis as an indecipherable being. Some characters in the Heptaméron make similar statements. The Thélème episode is influenced by Erasmus and Castiglione.
