AB  - This is to studie post-war Gionian short stories by questioning their form, their methods of publication and their reception issues. By its short format and its distribution in periodicals, reaching a wider readership, the short story represents an ideal genre to reconquer a readership. Adopting the posture of a storyteller, Giono strives to attract the passing reader, counting on the seductive power of his texts considered as “stories told aloud”.
