AB  - Impressed by Patrice Chéreau’s production of La Dispute (1973), which toured Europe in 1976, Juli Léal, in 2007, decided to stage three productions with a more or less direct link with the Commedia dell’Arte and he turned to Marivaux’s theatre. He then turned his attention to two plays in one act, The Dispute and Slave Island. The originality of his project is to make an adaptation in a single piece, by circulating some of the characters of the utopia of the origins to the post-shipwreck utopia.
