Orders were placed all year round to enable stage-productions and the smooth day-to-day administration of the theatre, with regard to both the maintenance of the playhouse and its operation. Bills are scrutinised to identify the troupe’s most significant items of expenditure, commercial practices and deals made with suppliers.
