AB  - Before leaving the stage where they have played at being human, the actors take a bow (a salut in French). The writer of the play questions the two meanings of the word salut and the ways in which this threshold is crossed. While he leaves the task of developing the finale rituals to the stagehand and the actors, he strives in writing and on stage to bring about as best he can the “three moves in reverse” that will leave an indelible mark on the public’s mind.
