AB  - Convinced that studies of this text have until now suffered from a rather restrictive approach, this proposes his analysis. In the first part of his text it follows the poem line by line. In a second section it situates the poem within the context of Mallarmé’s work and especially L’Après-midi d’un Faune. In a final section it provides some more detailed additional notes.
