AB  - This communication draws the portrait of Narcisse Quellien, said to be the 'last of the bards', who took the initiative of creating the first Celtic Dinner in Tréguier. He is a personality apart, a brilliant “Bretonnant”, author of the collection Chansons et danses des Bretons but "with little judgement" according to Luzel. Thanks to Ferdinand Brunetière and Paul Bourget, he met Renan, with whom he became friends. He much wanted to attract him to the Celtic dinner, to which he managed to appoint Renan president for life.
