AB  - Asking the question about a possible similar process between religious radicalization and politics implies thinking of a porosity between the two spheres. This paper analyses the limits of the concepts of “political religions” and “Gnosticism” forged by Eric Voegelin to justify their inadequacy in the study of a violent ideology and its institutionalization.
