AB  - Against the common confusion between relativism and scepticism This paper argues that both terms can be distinguished on the basis of their treatment of justification in ethics. The argument of H. T. Engelhardt, Jr. illustrates this distinction; his stance is not skeptical, as far as he appeals to a single ethical norm for a secular and peaceful society. Neither is it relativistic, as far as he refers to a single norm.
