AB  - In the early 1970s, Aaton developed its first camera, the Aaton 7. Light, easy to handle and silent, this was a 16mm and Super 16mm camera designed to meet the requirements and wishes of the technicians and filmmakers of its time. Examining its technical characteristics will help us to understand the decisions that Aaton made when they responded to user demands, in particular as regards the camera’s ergonomic design, handling and silent operation.
